Terms governing your use of the Search Why service

1. Introduction
By accessing or using the Search Why website, API or related applications (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction).
- You are responsible for providing accurate information and safeguarding your credentials.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
- The Service offers a free tier and one or more paid subscriptions.
- Paid plans renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis until cancelled in Account → Subscription. We will display the renewal price before each charge.
- Cancellation takes effect immediately; access continues until the current billing period ends. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
4. Use of Service & Fair Use
- Access the Service only via the official UI or API endpoints.
- Excessive daily requests beyond your plan’s reasonable limits may result in throttling or suspension.
5. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on the following categories of providers:

6. User Content & Licence
You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a worldwide, revocable, royalty-free licence to operate and improve the Service.
7. Prohibited Conduct
No reverse-engineering, bulk scraping, malware distribution or other unlawful/infringing activity.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Search Why shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. If this disclaimer is held unenforceable, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms or legal requirements. You may delete your account at any time.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via the website or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
